Building Blocks Pediatrics Regarding COVID-19
Temperature Checks
All patients will undergo temperature checks before therapy sessions. If the temperature is 100.4°F (38°C) or higher, the session will be canceled. Patients must remain fever-free for 24 hours (without fever-reducing medication). If a patient is sick, exposed to Covid-19, or Covid-19 positive, please refer to CDC guidelines and/or your pediatrician's recommendations. Contact our office to reschedule therapy sessions for sick children.

Facial Covering
Parents and therapists will respect the family's and/or therapist's comfort level regarding facial covering. If requested by either party, facial coverings (i.e., mask or facial shield) will be worn.
Waiting Room
While our waiting room is open, we will limit the number of people gathered. Please be mindful of other businesses and refrain from allowing children to run, walk, or play in the corridors.
Teletherapy
We will continue to offer teletherapy as a valuable resource when appropriate.
