Sarah Gingrich, MHS, OTR/L
Sarah is a master’s-level board-certified occupational therapist. Sarah’s passion for working with children grew out of her work with orphans living with disabilities and HIV in Kingston, Jamaica throughout high school and college. She also spent a summer in Cork, Ireland working in community programs for adults and children with special needs.
Sarah graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in psychology where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She earned a master’s degree in occupational therapy from the Medical College of Georgia. She has clinical experience with a variety of pediatric populations and has training in adult orthopedic and neurological conditions. She utilizes various treatment modalities including Handwriting Without Tears, The Zones of Regulation self-regulation curriculum, sensory integration, and neuro-developmental approaches to help her patients achieve their goals. Sarah has completed advanced training curriculum in the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding as well as the Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Intervention program. She is passionate about helping all children realize their potential and loves seeing them succeed and have fun during therapy!
In her free time, Sarah volunteers as a Fairy Godparent with Bert’s Big Adventure and provides volunteer therapy services in Kingston, Jamaica. Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, painting, dancing, cooking, and curling up with a good book when she wants to relax.
