Meredith Powell, MS, CCC-SLP
Meredith graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She worked for Dekalb County Public Schools as a speech-language pathologist while completing her clinical-fellowship year. She is certified nationally through the American Speech Language Association (ASHA) and holds a Georgia State License.
Meredith has experience working with children with varying communication needs including the following: expressive and receptive language disorders, apraxia of speech, stuttering, articulation and phonological disorders, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, and Down Syndrome. Meredith feels passionate about providing effective therapy that is based on current research. Helping children and families succeed is her greatest joy.
In her free time, Meredith loves to exercise, hangout with friends, and watch television.
