Leslie McRoberts, MS, OTR/L
Leslie earned a B.S. in Community Health and Health Promotion from Georgia Southern University. She graduated from Brenau University with a M.S. in Occupational Therapy.
Leslie has experience in school-based OT, hospital/homebound services, adult rehabilitation, and mental health. Her experience as an OT in school settings gives her insight into functional problems children may experience in academic settings. Leslie works with children on fine motor skills, sensory processing, executive functioning skills, visual motor integration and visual perception by using play as a primary therapeutic tool. She is experienced with Handwriting Without Tears, Keyboarding Without Tears, Zones of Regulation, Social Thinking curriculum, and sensory integrative techniques.
Outside of OT, Leslie enjoys outdoor activities, reading, traveling, and playing with her dog.
