Diana Miller, OTD,OTR/L
Diana (Deena) received her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Northridge and earned her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Nova Southeastern University.
During her doctoral program, Deena’s studies included a specialized curriculum with a focus on sensory processing. She then completed her residency by designing and presenting research on strategy patterns used by children during fine motor manipulation. Upon graduation, Deena moved to Atlanta to practice in a private pediatric clinic before joining Building Blocks in 2021.
Deena has continued to add to her training through courses in DIR Floortime, Pediatric Complex Feeding Issues, and Sensory Integration. Deena is passionate about creating a client centered environment where kids and parents can be active participants in their own therapy process.
Outside of the OT world, Deena enjoys traveling, spending time with her with her husband, dog, and friends, crafting , and exploring the Atlanta area.
