Amanda van Staden, MS, CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Amanda van Staden M.S., CCC-SLP is a certified Speech Language Pathologist who received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Georgia and immediately went on to pursue her Masters in Communicative Disorders from the University of Alabama. During her graduate studies, Amanda gained experience working with early intervention programs, outpatient rehab centers, and the public school system. After graduation, she returned home to Atlanta to work with students with a wide range of speech and language disorders, orthopedic impairments, hearing and vision impairments, chromosomal abnormalities, and Autism Spectrum Disorder in both the school system and in private clinic settings.

Amanda is certified in the Beckman Oral Motor Evaluation and Treatment Protocol to assist with articulation, oral motor, and feeding concerns, as well as The Lidcombe Program to assist preschool and school age children with stuttering. Amanda is passionate about working with children with developmental language delays, receptive, expressive and pragmatic language delays secondary to Autism Spectrum Disorder, articulation disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and fluency disorders.

When she is not working, Amanda is spending time outdoors with her dogs or cheering on both the Georgia Bulldogs and the Alabama Crimson Tide!
