An Important Message from Building Blocks Pediatrics regarding COVID-19:

Building Blocks Pediatrics would like to reassure all our families that we are taking all necessary precautions to do our part to prevent the spread of any illness including, but not limited to Covid-19.  Building Blocks Pediatrics is taking increased measures to keep our clinics sanitized and disinfected. This includes but is not limited to:

o   Temperature Check: All patients will have their temperature checked before the start of therapy.  If the temperature is 100.4° F (38° C) or above, the therapy session will be cancelled.  Patient must remain fever free for 24 hours (without fever reducing medication).  In the event the patient is sick, has been exposed to Covid-19 or is Covid-19 positive, please refer to the CDC guidelines and/or your pediatricians’ recommendations. If your child is sick, please contact our office to reschedule your child’s therapy session.

o   Facial Covering: Parents and therapists will be asked to respect the comfort level of the family and/or the therapist.  In the event, either the therapist and/or family request facial covering (i.e., mask and/or facial shield), please respect this request.

o   Waiting Room:  Our waiting room is now open, however we will continue to limit the amount of people gathering in our office.   Please be mindful of surrounding businesses.  We ask that you do not allow children to run/walk/play in the corridors.

o   Teletherapy: We will continue to offer the valuable resource of teletherapy (when appropriate).
