Michelle Srivastava, M.S.Ed, CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Michelle Srivastava is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist who also holds a Georgia State License. She obtained her bachelor’s degree at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO, and went on to achieve her master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY.

Michelle has a passion for working with the pediatric population. She primarily has worked with children in the school setting and most recently worked for Fulton County Schools. Michelle also speaks Spanish and has many years of experience evaluating children in English and Spanish.  Michelle has experience supporting and advocating for children with a wide variety of communication needs including receptive, expressive, and social language delays, articulation and phonological disorders, and hearing and vision impairments secondary to developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome. Michelle has also worked with children who stutter and has significant experience teaching children to use assistive technology and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices to increase their communication skills.

Michelle believes that every child has something important to say. She believes that her role as the SLP is to motivate and encourage kids using a child-centered approach. Michelle really takes the time to get to know her clients and learn their interests so that they enjoy coming to therapy! She also believes in the importance of collaboration using a family-centered approach. Parents and caregivers know their children best and are essential to the therapy process by helping children carryover learned strategies at home.

In her free time, Michelle loves to travel, try new restaurants, spend time in nature and hang out with her friends and family, especially her young daughter, husband and dog.
