Meet Brittany

Brittany Kendall, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Brittany Kendall graduated from the Medical College of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy, receiving the honors of Magna Cum Laude. She is licensed through the Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy and registered through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc.  She began her career in adult and pediatric rehabilitation at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia, specializing in Spinal Cord Injury, Neurological Disorders and Developmental Disorders.  She then furthered her specialty in pediatrics, accepting a position at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in 2007, where she continues to serve children of all ages in the outpatient setting as a part-time clinician. Brittany has since expanded her expertise, serving in a variety of other settings within the Atlanta area including schools, home health, and private practice.

Brittany is passionate about her work in pediatrics, and has enjoyed helping children and their families through over 12 years of practice.  She specializes in Sensory Integration and is trained in Therapeutic Listening and the Astronaut Visual-Vestibular Program.  Brittany also provides sensory-based feeding treatment, and is trained in the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Feeding approach.  Furthermore, Brittany specializes in the treatment of praxis, fine motor, visual motor, and ocular motor deficits impacting handwriting and daily occupations and utilizes the Handwriting Without Tears method to maximize handwriting potential with her clients.

Brittany lives in Alpharetta with her husband Darren, and their two dogs, Sophie and Millie.  For leisure, Brittany enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, traveling, cooking, and interior design.  Brittany is also a proud member of Happy Tails Pet Therapy, Inc., where she and Sophie enjoy volunteer work within their community.
