Angi Sklar, OTR/L
Angi Sklar graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Medical University of South Carolina with her degree in Occupational Therapy, coupled with a degree in Psychology from The College of Charleston. Angi began her career at Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehabilitation hospital in Nashville,TN working on the Traumatic Brain Injury and Neurological inpatient rehabilitation unit. She then broadened her horizons by working as a lead clinical site coordinator and project manager for a company specializing in clinical research trials in ophthalmology. She transitioned from working with adults to children in 2010 and hasn’t looked back.
Her interests surround sensory integration, NDT treatment, yoga, and using exercise, among other tools, to make learning fun. She is also certified in Handwriting Without Tears. She has been described as a “MacGyver” occupational therapist because she enjoys finding creative, practical, and efficient solutions to everyday challenges without breaking the bank or your busy schedule!
